Hi, I'm John, co-founder of Faxie. I'm a true believer that, for most companies, the benefits of remote work far outweigh the downsides. That's why we built Faxie as a remote-first company.

But remote work has its challenges too. When you're on a distributed team, it can be easy to feel distanced from your teammates outside of occasional offsites or company events. I've lived that myself, both as a people manager and working across distributed organizations.

Faxie is designed to help with that. We wanted a tool that brings more expression and personality to everyday remote communication, and makes it easier to connect, celebrate, and share fun moments together. Something with more personal touch than emojis, GIFs, or plain text, but without becoming another program, another recurring meeting, or anything that feels like forced fun.
